You’ve found the perfect toy, now show it some love and keep it running smoothly with proper care and maintenance.
Vibrators can be cleaned by wiping them down with a damp, soapy washcloth. (Take care not to wet the internal components.) Clean your toy after each and every use and only store them when they are completely dry. We highly recommend spraying your toy with a good Sex Toy Cleaner. This will keep it smelling fresh and discourage the growth of harmful bacteria. Non vibrating toys like plugs and dildos are especially easy to clean. They can be completely immersed in hot, soapy water or even put in the dishwasher.
Store in a cool, dry place. Moisture can cause batteries to corrode a vibrator’s internal components, shortening the life span of the toy. If you live in an area where high humidity can’t be avoided, you can remove the batteries from your toy when it’s not being used.
Do not use silicone lubricants with silicone toys, or oil based lubricants with latex toys. If you don’t know the material of your toy, you can stay on the safe side by using a water based lubricant like Eros Aqua.
Take care when loading and unloading your vibrator with batteries! The internal components of most toys are extremely fragile and can be broken through rough handling.
If you are sharing your toys with multiple partners, you can keep them safe and clean by covering them with a latex condom. Keep in mind that most soft toy materials like jelly and Cyberskin are quite porous and harder to disinfect. Hard plastic, E glass and silicone can be bleached to insure absolute safety.
